while in Riva Del Garda, at the Hotel Gardesana, the chef prepared a gala meal on the Wednesday,17th October 2007, it was Strigoli smalzati alla 'Gritti'.
pasta 'Gritti's ' _style_ with ragout, cream, curry and sage. I have tried to make this but cannot get anywhere near the taste.
wonder if anyone can help, even the chef from the Hotel, if he was available. have not tasted food like it since our return, hence I am going back again..

This morning I have contacted the Hotel Gardesana and asked for the recipe. It's not something that I usually do, I mean contacting Hotels or chefs on the phone, but considering that I come from that area of Italy I thought it would be nice to have a chat with my locals. The lady I spoke with said that they need to speak with the chef and if we are lucky they will post the reply in the forum.

I really hope that we will get the receipe.
